PRESERVATION PLANNING

Preservation planning is a process that uses policy and planning to develop the priorities, objectives and vision for the preservation of a community’s historic and cultural resources. Through community engagement we help develop successful preservation plans by: (1) assisting communities in identifying and establishing their historic contexts, (2) using those contexts to develop goals and priorities for the identification, evaluation, registration and treatment of the historic and cultural properties, and (3) developing plans and technical resources that can be used as long-term tools for implementation.
